Honua Kai is a beautiful resort to stay at! The home itself is preserved plenty of lush tropical plants, there are 4 pools, and you can talk about with the other hotel as well. Dukes is an excellent place to eat it’s directly on the house (there’s also food trucks that come by regular, so you have options).
Rooms are adequate; I simply wanted our room and another bed (ocean view package ). I highly recommend picking up a couple of items from the onsite store so that you save on breakfast or lunch. My only complaint is that the resort is family friendly, and children are running around everywhere. But at night it’s adorable and quiet, oh and also the shore is a walk away, and I did not see any rocks, nothing but sand and clear blue water for miles on end. Some guy there told me about a snuba cozumel chankanaab tour in Mexico. And that sound really fun!
We stayed in a first floor 2 bedroom/2 bath condo. An ideal arrangement for solitude with the bedrooms separated from the living areas. The kitchen had everything we needed for a two-week stay.
They also supplied a highchair and booster. The doors to the lanai opened into the green area, ideal for kicking the ball to the little one. Our expansive infant discovered that the koi pond and waterfalls fascinating. Walkways to pools easily navigated. Beach towels were always available.
Along with the pools! This was the main attraction. We spent a substantial quantity of time in every and every one. Ideal for families with young children. If you are interested in finding prime beach/snorkeling, then this isn’t the hotel for you. Duke’s is a decent restaurant which serves breakfast, lunch, dinner.
There’s a Whaler General Store on site. A pleasant relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Underground parking in addition to valet service. The property and condo were pristine, the pools clean and perfectly maintained. Lush vegetation. Highly recommend for family vacations.
This hotel was amazing. It had all of the amenities to make your vacation spectacular and was located close to everything. The children loved the pools.
